Hi everyone!
My name is Annie and I am a 12 year old Jack Russell. I arrived at SEDR as a welfare case - very underweight, terrible skin and a whole mouth full of rotting teeth.

During vet examination, they picked up a heart murmur and put me on medication to help with this. They also ran blood tests and were pleased (although surprised!) to see that all values on the blood tests were within normal range. 

I then had a dental and had to have TWENTY teeth removed! But I felt a LOT better after that! My skin is now looking great thanks to a good diet and supplements.

I will need to stay on heart medication now for the rest of my life. Currently (if bought online using a veterinary prescription) this works out at around 30 pence per day, but this may increase as I get older if other medications need to be introduced. 

I am an extremely loving girl who adores snuggles on the sofa! I am housetrained and fine to be left for a few hours.

I still enjoy my walks and love pottering round the garden and will make a fantastic companion in my new home.

Sadly I do not like other dogs, and for this reason I will need a home without other dogs, or visiting dogs. I will bark at dogs if they come too close on walks, so a home in a quiet dog walking area would be ideal for me.

Although I do not like dogs - I am cat friendly! I have been in foster with cats without any issues at all.

I travel well in the car and am a perfect patient at the vets (other than barking at other dogs in the waiting room 🤣) 

I am looking for an adult only home, but dog savvy visiting children would be considered. 

I may be an older girl, but I have a huge amount of love to give in my new home.
