Choccy

Hi everyone!

My name is Choccy and I am a 7 year old Dacshund. 

I am looking for a calm and patient home and there MUST be a RESIDENT dog in the home - ideally another dachshund but I’m open to living with other breeds. 

Please do not apply if you do not have a resident dog or just a visiting dog - the hoomans here say they can only reply to those who meet the criteria.

I have been used for breeding but am spayed now. I have re-started my vaccinations

I am extremely overweight….weighing in at 9.1kg! My new home must be committed to steadily reducing my weight. I do have a low grade heart murmur which is not causing any issues and will just need monitoring. 

I am a very shy girl who finds humans a little scary, but I adore other dogs and gain lots of confidence from them. I show no aggression whatsoever when being handled…I’m just a worried soul who needs assurance. 

I have not and cannot be cat tested.

I am looking for a quiet home without young children. 

I may need a helping hand with housetraining - so please be prepared for accidents whilst I’m learning. 

You will need a secure garden and I would like someone at home for a good part of the day.
