Hi everyone!
My name is Elsa and I am an approximately 3 year old Labrador Cross who came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray. I have been heavily bred from
I have now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
I arrived at SEDR very timid and shut down and have now moved into a foster home to help gain my confidence.
I absolutely adore other dogs, and I must have a full time, resident canine companion in my forever home as its dogs that give me the confidence to shine!
No cats or small furries!
I will need a patient and caring home who understands that I will take time to trust. There is absolutely no aggression when I'm scared, and I am in foster with 2 dog savvy children with no issues.
I love my walks and my confidence increases dramatically when with other dogs.
In the home I am housetrained and not destructive (I will pinch a fluffy toy if i can!) I am nervous in the car, but this is improving as I grow in confidence.
Here's what my foster mum says about me
Elsa is a beautiful, gentle soul who has clearly faced some challenges in her past, leaving her understandably nervous around people. However, since being with us, she has begun to settle and show glimpses of her true personality.
When Elsa is around other dogs, she completely lights up! Her tail doesn’t stop wagging, she dives into playtime, and she looks genuinely happy and at ease. She will thrive in a home with at least one other dog to be her playmate, role model, and source of comfort.
While Elsa can be a little shy at first, she loves gentle affection, especially face scratches, once she feels safe. She needs a patient family willing to help her adjust, understand her anxiety, and show her that humans can be trusted and loving.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion and have the love and patience to help Elsa continue her journey, she’ll reward you with endless love (and plenty of tail wags!).
