Lexi
Perfect Little Lexi
Hi everyone
My name is Lexi and I am an approximately 18 month old spaniel who came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray. I weigh 11kg.
I was in season when I arrived at the rescue so will be rehomed on a neutering contract where I must be spayed in 3 months time. I have been vaccinated, wormed and defleaed. A very friendly girl who loves people and other dogs!
I went to foster to be assessed in a home with a family who had a female spaniel already and I absolutely loved playing with her and curling up to sleep next to her. For this reason I will only be rehomed where there is a resident dog who is playful and has lots of energy to keep up with me.
I can live with dog savvy children aged 6 and over.
Here is what my fosterer says about me -
My whole family instantly fell in love with Lexi, and if our circumstances were different, we would have adopted her ourselves. She is the sweetest, cuddliest girl who loves to stand on your whilst you watch TV!!!
Housetraining is still a work in progress - she will go on puppy pads but even in the week we had her, she improved hugely. Her new home will need to treat her like a puppy with toileting, and be prepared for accidents initially.
She settles perfectly overnight and slept in my bed and did not have any toileting accidents during nighttime.
She great in the car and loves her walks. She does pull on the lead but she is so food orientated that with training that could be resolved (and she's quite little bless her!)
I really cannot stress enough how amazing she is, and she's stolen all of our hearts. Whoever adopts her will be beyond lucky.
Good luck Lexi ❤️
