Lulu

Lulu is a 3 year old Dachsund who was due to be euthanised at a vets due to IVDD.  She had just been bred from and then when her back end became paralysed after her pups were sold, she was taken to be PTS.

Thankfully the vets reached out to us and she has been under our care since.

Lulu has made an amazing recovery thanks to good medical care and Physiotherapy. She is now able to walk unaided and is enjoying her walks having finished crate rest! 

She has no issues toileting but may need reminding of house training in her furever home.

Lulu is the sweetest, most affectionate dachshund we have ever met. She just wants love, cuddles and belly rubs!!! 

She  lights up the room with her sweetest nature and her bum never stops wiggling!!

Lulu is looking for a home experienced with IVDD or who have thoroughly researched the condition and understand the implications of any future IVDD issues being uninsurable.

She cannot run up and down stairs and will need steps to prevent her jumping on and off of sofa’s / beds etc. 

Lulu adores children but due to her previous medical issues she would be best suited to a calm adult home but sensible visiting children would be fine.

Lulu is great with dogs out and about but wants to be the only dog in the home, and needs someone around for most of the time.

Lulu cannot live with cats.

Lulu travels well in the car and loves the vets!

Despite all she has been through, Lulus outstanding temperament means she will make a lifelong companion and best friend in her furever home.
