Hi everyone!

My name is Mavis and I am a 3 year old Blue Tick Coon Hound.

I came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray, and have now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. 

I am an extremely confident and friendly girl, who adores everyone I meet!

I travel well in the car and am a perfect patient at the vets!

I have met other dogs without any issues, I tend to say a quick hello and then focus on finding some interesting smells!!

I am learning to walk nicely on the lead, but this is definitely a work in progress!

I will need a home who has experience with, or has well researched hounds! I will thrive in a home with lots of exercise and stimulation - and would make an amazing cani-cross or hiking companion!

I appear to be house-trained and have shown no signs of aggression over food or toys.

I will need a secure garden, and cannot live with cats or small furries.

I can live with dog savvy children, and could live with another dog, or as an only dog.

I would so love to be back in a home, and have a whole lot of love to share with my new family!
