Nell

Hi everyone!

My name is Nell and I am a 10 year old shepherd cross poodle, weighing 30kg.

I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

I came to SEDR after my original owner requested my euthanasia at a vets…without any behavioural or health issues. Thankfully the vets refused and reached out to SEDR who agreed to take me under their wing.

I am an absolutely stunning girl who has struggled with being in kennels after losing my family and my home.

I am shy around new people but as soon as I spend time with you, I bond quickly but my new home must have experience with nervous dogs.

I enjoy the company of other dogs and would like to have a canine friend in my new home who is confident to help show me the way.

I travel well in the car and am a perfect patient at the vets.

I cannot live with cats.

My ideal home would be a relatively quiet home without lots of visitors, and no young children.

I would a nice garden to sunbathe in, but it must be secure! 

My new family will need to understand that my whole world has been turned upside down, and that I will need time to learn to trust them (I’ve never shown any aggression even when extremely worried)

Once I trust you I am exceptionally loyal and loving and will jump up for cuddles and love.
