Rolo
Hi everyone!
My name is Rolo and I am a 4 year old spaniel who came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray.
I have restarted vaccinations and will bed spayed before leaving for my fur-ever home.
Rolo is an active dog who loves exercise and stimulation and is looking for a home with lots of adventures. She can live with another dog who is not too bouncy or in her face, or as only dog. She cannot live with cats.
Rolo can live with sensible children who are used to bouncy dogs.
I have been into foster to be assessed and here's what my foster Mum says about me..
Rolo is the most adorable dog who settled in perfectly on foster with us. If our circumstances allowed us to keep her - we would not hesitate.
She's a pleasure to train and is extremely bright and eager to learn. She loves her walks and will run around on a long line doing zoomies for 5 minutes but then settles well. She would need some more recall practice before being off lead as she can be easily distracted.
She settles well at night and has been fine to left for a few hours.
She mixed well with our female spaniel but she doesn't appreciate young bouncy dogs getting in her face, but could live as the only dog or with a calm companion.
She has definitely been mistreated and will belly crawl towards you if she feels nervous.
She walks ok on the lead but does pull when she's excited but this is improving.
She isn't used to toys yet but loves treats!
Rolo will make an exceptional addition to her family, we are just gutted we couldn't adopt her!
